FROM
THE PRESIDENT:
Dear Fellow Business
and Computer Educators:
Arizona Business
Education continues to be involved in numerous changes.
First, there was a
change in certification that had a major impact on how we employ business
educators at the secondary level. Then, your ABEA committee on certification
elected to allow reciprocation for teachers who move in from other states
under specific guidelines. Hopefully, future journal issues will continue to
lead the way in promoting quality programs.
This journal reflects
the successes and shares the ideas of many of our fellow educators. Let’s
applaud them for their hard work and their contributions. On behalf of Arizona
Business Educators, I would like to thank Dr. Robert Gryder, ABEA Journal
Editor, and Dr. Martha Rader, Associate Journal Editor, for providing such an
excellent nationally recognized publication. It truly represents the
excellence of business education.
Dr. Myers offers 6
keys to Achieving Success Through Customer Service.
Writing from Charles University, founded in 1348 in Prague, Dr. Weldon
presents an excellent view of an American educator. Dr. Schreiber expresses his views on learning theories for
Business Educators. Dr. Lynch
recommends an Integrated MBA Management course. Kevin O’Rorke and Irma Arboleda forecast another movement
toward teacher certification. Robert
S. Driska earned his Doctorate in Business Education in 1967 from A.S.U.
His scholarly report on Research in Business Education reminds us of
past research.
