FROM THE EDITOR

The Arizona Business Education Association Journal, Volume 1, Number 1, appeared on the Arizona Front during the Spring of 1982.  This 28-page publication was prepared under the editorship of Anne Bennington who was the teacher educator at the University of Arizona.  Carolyn Christian served as President.  Anne’s introduction to the Journal follows:

Business educators face many challenges in the 80’s.  The goals of each of us must address the following: new technology, needs of the students to include computer literacy, work experience, and competencies to attain and hold a position.  As we look to “The Information Age,” we must provide each individual with the most learning for the least amount of expenditure.

Under the Presidency of Domonic Salce, and with Board approval, the Journal became published online.  A wide range of articles were selected for your professional reading.

The current issue, Volume 21, Number 1 appeared in the Spring of 2002.  Authors from Mountain Pointe High School; Fort Hood, Texas; Ball State University; University of Missouri-Columbia; California State University, Los Angeles; Gilbert High School; Kyrene School District; and Arizona State University were included.

This current publication is Volume 21, Number 2 Fall 2002.  Approval for this Fall Issue was approved in the May 2002 Meeting of the ABEA.  This issue continues to present a wide range of articles.  Dr. Martha H. Rader, Associate Editor joins me in wishing you a most professional academic year in 2003.

Appreciation is extended to Dr. Rader, and to Bob Shaw, Webmaster.
